i think i always had a pretty good sense of who i am and who i'm not. But i still wrestled, because when you want to make those choices, the whole organization looks at you like you're crazy. A lot of mentors might not even understand what it is you want to do. So in the end, i went to stanford, and things worked out. But i've have multiple forks in the road like that. And for people who are listening, who face those choices, i do think it's important to trust yourself about what your values are.
