The Metabolic Benefit Outweighs the Weight Gain Benefit

The weight gain issue is something that you have to be in a weight bearing sport like running and it has to be a very long event. Most of those athletes probably aren't taking creatine. I have evidence that it will improve your performance on the soccer pitch. You'll gain half a step or a step on your opponent. So the metabolic benefit outweighs the weight gain benefit in most situations. But it's possible there's a sport out there where the weight gain might be a biomechanical disadvantage.
