I think it's just the way they were trained. You've got a kind of have this freedom to move about, I don't know. Can be really awkward when the priest comes reads the readings and then his homily comes down in front of the altar y and wanders around. Now, na oif his trying to connect with the the people are what, but it's just, why not though means could be more than just he might be trying to connected with them.
