She later submitted it to a journal but Heidegger thought that it was better if she were to rewrite it in a more neutral fashion which is to say in prose and so she did. It was published in 1929 four years before she entered Carmel. So this is a quotation from the prose essay it's going to take me about a minute and a half to read.
