Inflation induce debt destruction is the hidden wealth creator in real estate. The only solution to the housing shortage is to let people build more houses, period. In every rent controlled place, what do we have? We have a bigger housing shortage. And i'll be the first to admit the government massively distorts markets, no question about it. Central planning does not work, period. It's never worked anywhere in the world. It's an absolute disaster every time. They always say they're trying to help. That's the reality of it.
