The Importance of Control in Post-Production

There's a point at which, in any production, you're getting closer and closer to the line where what you do doesn't really matter. Promotion, audience awareness, other shows out there, out of your control. We are in the post-production too late to fix. Where the hell are we? Turn down that goddamn music phase. Let's take off the shelves and rebuild this goddamn Ikea desk. And I guess what makes me think about all of this is, well, it's where we are right now in the entertainment business.
