The Power of Thanksgiving

In heaven, Revelation 4 gives us the clearest description of the throne room. What are they doing around the throne? They're giving him honor and thanks. Why? Because it's the right way to respond to him through honor and through thanks. You can see the power of thanksgiving in Jonah. In Jonah chapter 2 verse 9, that's why he calls it a sacrificial voice of thanksgiving. He mustered up his will to give God thanks, even though he's in the belly of a well at the bottom of the ocean.
