Julian Zelizer: I think you can't start with unconscious ingredients and boot up consciousness. And so even with Roger Penrose where there's like a gray area, right? But that doesn't mean they're wrong just because they can't find a way to boot it up yet. That was for a long time and your colleagues, including yourself or physicalist and now you broke away. The reason is principle, but but I'm happy that they're exploring it. There's not one theory. So integrated information theory, orchestrated collapse of microtubules, global workspace theory. These are all theories of consciousness.
