Is Kindle Unlimited a Counterweight to Traditional Publishing?

There are more and more indie authors, but they're not yet a counterweight to traditional publishing. I think it's great, but there's a hell of a lot of us out. We get paid for units read for basically for pages read. And it's very complicated. It is impossible to be able to never go back and justify how they're paying. You can never be able to do it. So you take the money and go.
