The Importance of Conspiracy Theories
I think that's the feeling of, of being dominated by an implacable power. That controls all aspects of life. It's not hard to think of what kind of childhood would resonate with that. And so in a way, you know, we could actually embrace The term conspiracy theorists. If we understand that this coordinating power does not have to be human or does not have been. Locatable as a conscious agency,. but it can be embedded in the world. Like God doesn't have to be some guy up in the heavens, moving the pieces around the pieces themselves can be part of an intelligence. Emergent complexity in emergent purpose is harder for the mind of separation to grok
