Tim Ferriss: Derek Sivers says he rarely speaks to his mentors. Instead, he writes out a description of the problem he's facing and tries to predict what they would say. He doesn't actually need to go to the mentor after all, but it takes more effort than having them get on the phone with you. You're not going to find when you deserve heroes are easy to find.
