When you look at what happened to the native people in california, it's actually a unlike other places in the country. There was a really intentional campaign to assimilate and destroy culture of native folks incalifornia. A lot of that had to do with the gold rot and resources that california has. And also, i mean, as a native woman, to have her daughter being taught that, like, they do anything really wrong,. This isn't just something that happened 50 years ago. This is something that is, like, to day, actively happening, yes.
