The Importance of Quality in Business
I think there's a reason people look to margins first which is that it's a far more reliable actual guide to quality because I mean if you if you have amazing asset turn and very low margins it can be the basis of an abrillion business like Amazon or Costco. The screen uses as its way in and I say in the book you know you don't set this up so it's far more attuned to asset turn if you want but the way you know I've done it as a screen over the 10 years isn't far more attune to the kind of quality that will produce high margins. You tend to find companies which are less vulnerable toyou know the cycle or outside factors
