Every day, taking our sustenance from the earth and from the bodies of other animals, we enter deeply into the mystery of creation. And yo, yo say, this is preating as practical theology, because it gives us an opportunity to honor god with our bodies. Iean: For a very long time, i think we have had a highly spiritualized notion of religion in the west. We thought that sexual morality in some way connected us to god, but nothing else about our physical being does. It's striking that in genesis, one what we know of god, really the only thing that we know of god,. is that god creates, and god values what god has made....
