Is There a New Vision?
David Michael Levin has some ideas about practice that I think are relevant to a religion. He uses one of Heidegger's terms of glass and height to see in a new way, in a more participatory way. Crying is when you experience real deep tears, that's a kind of seeing that's a not seeing. It interrupts vision for the time being but it's an immersion in the deep felt participatory realization...you find the whole in the intertwining.
