Sarah Jaffe: Where do Jews from the former Soviet Union fit into this class-inflected Ashkenazi Mizrahi divide? She says they first came to Israel in the early 90s following the fall of the Soviet Union. One commonality that I think does continue through generations is a strong secularism, she says.
