Salem Village was a small farming settlement that had been around since 1636. The population of the village loved to fight and argue, disputes about all sorts of stuff constantly going around. They hired a succession of ministers, but none of them lasted very long. And it was this decision to bring a church to Salem Village that sort of led to the domino effect that would ultimately result in the Salem Witch Trials.
