Reinforcing Biases and Echo Chambers in AI

UAI is not tuned for making you feel good in, you know, to entertain you. That is not its purpose. Its purpose is to understand you and disambiguate you and then provide value to you because of that. We all get better by realizing things about ourselves or the world by changing our minds. So it's optimizing for your well-being and happiness of sort of reality versus more echo chambery things. But at the same time, I think it's fair for people to be concerned about engaging in such an activity.
