Wood, How Do We Build Our Temple?
Wood is one to think about jesus as a carpenter, some one who works with wood. And through his sacrifice allows us to rise above the wickedness of the world. Jesus himself could walk upon the water. That's impossible asmere mortals, but wasn't for jesus. There was something about his his buoyancy that allowed him to rise above those things. He was wood of the holiest kind. But again, if you're building a boat, it's not the wood alone that is sufficient. We have to figure out a way to pitch it.
