"I grew up in Southeast San Diego in the early 90s. One of a handful of white kids at my local elementary school," he says. "My mom was wild, bro. She would just leave me by myself when I was five or six." He recalls watching American Ninja and finding letters from his mother with kissy marks on them that were written to her ex-boyfriend back in Russia.
