This was shot on 16 millimeter film, which is my favorite medium to shoot. It's literally a plastic sheet with chemicals on it that react to light. And so we added zooms in to sort of match with that dance. So you can see like this is right when they cut and everything usually gets really blurry right before you cut. They're not shooting willy-nilly. Like lots of times you'll do lots of rehearsals before you shoot because you don't want to waste any film.
