CHAPTER

Is Love the Death of Duty?

In FEDRIS idealized society without any of the women, there's this sense in which love inspires and gives birth to duty. You can't even really like separate it because the feeling of being seen acting shamefully by your beloved would be enough to deter and dissuade you from acting poorly. In contrast to this notion where it's like the all male force that are all in love with one and each other would be the most effective fighting force. I just wanted to emphasize that a little. Is this discourse of ethics, love, truth, beauty, and knowledge, I think, are all involved here?
