The Beauty of the Gospel
In chapter 17, we read more about Judah's hardness of heart and the problem with placing our trust in others or in ourselves. And when Judah inevitably asks why destruction has come, the Lord reminds them that their fathers have abandoned the Lord, and they themselves do even worse. We must place our trust in Him alone.
