GDP is a notion invented in the 1930s. It deals, frankly, with industrial production. Don't do we need to move on in terms of how we judge things? Is that a journey we can possibly go on? I definitely think there's all kinds of problems with the abstract idea of growth when it's measured by gross domestic product increase.
