Death and Funerals - What's the Punch Line?

Once a co operation game becomes a full blown competition game, it never goes back to the way it was before. Deterrence has failed. The co operative stag hunt equilibrium is dead. We can get it back if we're smart enough to play the political meta game. But there's a pose that very sick farm animals sometimes, when they're near death, where they lie down and twist their head way back into their shoulder in a very unnatural way. I don't know if it's too late to save them or not, but i'm increasingly thinkin that it is we need to start thinking about the funeral.
