High school seniors from the richest American families are more than twice as likely to get into the most competitive private universities compared to their middle-class counterparts. A new drug is getting some new attention to prevent certain sexually transmitted infections. The CDC is expected to release guidelines later this summer for a treatment charmingly called Doxypep. It uses a common antibiotic that according to recent studies can work as a sort of morning after pill to prevent bacterial STIs like syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia.
