We're going to do a finold meditation, but i thought i'd first read to you from just one short piece of martin luther king. It's from this talk, beyond viet nam, a time to break the silence. And i think it's very powerful. He says, this call for world wide fellowship that lifts neighborly concern beyond one's tribe, race, class and nation is in reality, a call for an all embracing and un ditional love for all human kind. When i speak of love, i am not speaking of some sentimental and weak response. I am speaking of that force which all of the great religions have seen as the supreme unifying principle
