What Does Capitalism Value?
Most of social reproduction, all of these things i've talked about, is still outside the formal economy. It's seen as not having a value. In any case, it's a vast expanse of social activity. But for the most part, and this is another distinctive feature of capitalism, unless it's brought inside the economy and treated as a way to make a profit, it's not counted as having any value. And this brings me to the point you were just asking about, having to do really w with crisis tendencies.
