If a pitcher doesn't pitch within the 15 or 22nd time frame, it's an automatic ball. If a batter isn't in place within eight seconds of the clock, that would be a strike. Spring training games now are down 25 minutes from last year. The average game is being played in two hours and 36 minutes Runs per game are up from 10.6 to 11 averages up to two.
