The Immutability of Eternity

Boethius was born into a patrician family in Rome sometime around 480 AD. His most famous work, The Consolation of Philosophy, was written in highly adverse circumstances from prison but he also wrote many other works of philosophy and theology too. Until the mid 12th century, the medieval's knew as much as they did of ancient philosophy, largely because of Boethius's own work.
