The Anti-Hegemonic Hegemony of the Modern Academic
The modern academic has tried to make it apparent that they don't have their own hegemony, right? It's all very peculiar. I remember back from my second pass through the university, we're going doing classes in religious studies and watching the teachers torture the English language. And then themselves to find anything in the world that religion can be about except for God. You can't say religion is the traditional system of human interaction with God. We have this huge no trespassing sign on that whole, the whole realm of actual experience of spiritual realities.
