DHCP - What Is the Subnet Mask?
The DHCP is bunch of options and have this option 53 option 12 option 55, right? So a 53 is actually the message type, which is discover. And in the IP layer, we notice that the destination is everybody. Hey, broadcast, the sources, I don't have a IP address or 000. Remember when I said that the server gives back all these configuration? Well, the client actually has to request this information. Subnet mask, hey, hey, l cb or whoever's out there,.
