The Breaking of Bread
The breaking of bread is a bit of double antondra bread, which was a staple of the first century mediterranean diet. Bread had to be broken before you could eat it. Tore off a piece with your bare hands, and then you handed the loaf to the person next to you at the table. In the breaking of bread, we remember that all of our life comes through jesus death on the cross, that we are dependent on him.
