I would say try and do skills as well when you want to switch careers. I think a lot of the time people don't realize how much some skills overlap anyway, like effective communication. It took me two jobs to get to where I was happy with. And then you look back and think God actually I wouldn't have got there without that. Everything, everything for a reason.
