What Is a Worm?

Worm is not a taxinomic group, ok? It's more of a catch all term. And it's even used to describe species that wouldn't fall anywhere taxinomically as worms. In the 19 sixties and seventies, scientists took the one millimeter long anemotode known as a senorabdis elegans,. They developed the techniques for raising and studying this worm which would turn into an important model organism along with others like ecoli and fruit flies and zebra fish.
