The Importance of Choice in Dementia
I don't want to be totally reliant on other people, which is what it will come to. And so I either give in and hide under the duvet or I venture out and walk in my village if I'm at home. Because being outside seems to dilute the dementia. If I've got any chance of coming out of this fog, it will be outside. On those days when the fog descends, can you also constantly remind yourself that it will pass? As long as I can say to myself, tomorrow might be better, then I know it will pass. It's one thing that's a hundred percent guaranteed to the world's population, yet we give it so little air
