The Importance of Pitch Accent

I think there's one of the assumptions that Matt might have had was that music was too poetic. But sometimes stuff can be poetic that's not music. It definitely does not reflect common daily use language. To a non-native, it doesn't really matter because usually anyway they're not using pitch accent to recognize words. So the native can easily tell, oh, they took a liberty there.
