The Importance of Predestination

The doctrine of predestination is the claim that a created person attains salvation if and only if God chooses that they do. The idea that are actually attaining it, actually attaining salvation, the attainment of it is God's gift, I think follows from predestination as we've defined it here. It calls for a certain kind of fervent prayer. We'll want to pray very much for our own salvation and for the salvation of our loved ones.
