The Big Short
In 2008, the stock market collapses and the world is thrown into a financial crisis. Lehman Brothers file for bankruptcy and guess who doesn't have to pay them back anymore? Our boy Marty. So he decides to start a new hedge fund that focuses on doing just that. And its tactics are savage. He goes online and spreads rumors that certain stocks will go down, influencing people to sell them. And it works. But Martin might be off the hook, but his new company has been destroyed.
