I Was a Shepherd, I Was Thirsty and You Gave Me Drink. I Was in Prison and You Came to Me.

In Ezekiel 34, God speaks and he says, I myself will be the shepherd and I will separate. And so Jesus is here identifying himself with the role that the Lord God himself will perform in Ezekiel chapter 34. The righteous will answer him saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty and give you drink? You know, it's always been interesting to me because if I was there, I would be like, yes, I'm in. Thanks so much. I'm going through the gates."
