The Housekeeper of a House
Jane Austen's novel is considered one of the first feminist novels. The story follows Jane as she tries to teach a little eight year old french girl called adele. A lot of it is about her inner thoughts, and she sort of confesses everything to the reader. She writes that women are supposed to feel very calm, but women just as men feel they need exercise for their faculties and a field for their efforts.
