Why I Studyed Economics

The first two conversations we've had here at your home were immensely enjoyable to me. And let's talk about economics. We spoke about financial instability and the Australian housing bubble, or the first phase of it in the early 2000s. I want to begin by asking you just why you, I've never asked you this before, but why you studied economics in the first place? What interested you in it? Well, I suppose I didn't really know what to do when I was at high school.
