The Importance of a Literal Resurrection in the Gospel of Jesus Christ
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believes in a literal embodied resurrection. This is important because it helps us to reverence the body, but also gives us hope for a future where we will be embodied resurrected beings with same sociality that exists here in this life. C.S. Lewis: I believe in Christ like I believe that the sun is risen, not only because I can see it, but by it I can see everything else more clearly.
