The Selection Bias in Laceration Repair Techniques
The next trial paper I have on this list is Johnny in 2014 it's an RCT from two different hospitals comparing a vichro rapide to proline like last paper lots of exclusions. Honestly I find this really problematic in patients with no health problems at all who have perfect small clean cuts. 4600 patients were seen with lacerations and they only enrolled about 100 of those 4600 so selection bias for sure. But anyway this trial included 113 patients and they tell us a little bit about that selection bias I was referring to during the trial period.
