The Bank of America's Failure to Issue Rewards to Credit Card Users
Bank of America was ordered to pay a total of $150 million in penalties. The bank failed to properly issue rewards to credit card users and signed up customers for card accounts without their consent, according to the consumer financial protection bureau. It also has to pay $80 million to all these customers who were unfairly charged bogus fees on top of another $23 million.
