Introduction

Ancient tradition divides up the bible into 54 portions, just about one for each week of the year. Each week we take a look at one portion and identify a big idea or a big question that comes out of it. So let's dive right into this week's portion, called laclaca. It's basically genesis 12 to 17. And this right here is all about abraham, the founding father of the israelites,. o g member of the chosen people. Why does god choose abraham?
