That one particular person could be linked to their direct relations, to their social connections, and even to their business or work connections. And that can give more insight on who was more likely to survive. If people were located near the bottom of the ship, the lower teers that are further from the boats could possibly be less likely to survive than folks who are very close to the exit in that graft.
