The Basics of Deep Learning

The feed forward neural net is the most basic, you know, quote unquote, vanilla general kind of neural network. The input flows from one side of the network forward to one or more hidden layers and then finally to the output. We're trying to get the system to derive more complexity from the inputs. But we do use it as a component of other deep learning systems where these deep learning systems might combine together multiple different kinds of networks.
