The Story of Thomas Ine's Heart Attack
Thomas ine suffered a massive heart attack three days after the onset of his sickness. Ine told the doctor that he had drunk considerable liquor on the boat. One theory suggests hurst's cover up was thwarted by tarashi cono, chaplain's japanese butler who allegedly saw in being carried off the yacht with a bullet hole in his head and then gossiped about it amongst all the other japanese servants. The rumor has so calcified that, as in's biographer notes, if hurst enacted a cover up of the real cause of ince's death, it was the worst cover up of all time.
