i don't think the plus plus operator, whether prefix or post fix, really has a place. You're likely going to be able to find use cases where any one of these things that you shouldn't use actually makes perfect sense. Imin to put in posal to add plus plus three and plus plus two. Just so a j has a short cut, but that cause plus equals two. Instead of putting a number, just put the number of pluses that you want to add.
